How to install a mesh fence?
Choosing the fence that we want to use on our property is not an easy matter. We have many options to choose from, and different fences can be used in different situations. One of the types of fencing that has been very popular for many years is the fencing mesh. However, when and why is it worth choosing such a solution? And how to properly install a mesh fence? Today we will deal with just this topic!
Wire mesh fencing – when and why?
Mesh fencing is often treated as one of the simplest solutions in a situation where we want to fence our property. It is precisely this simplicity that makes the fence mesh popular. It has many more advantages. It is relatively cheap, quick to install and durable, which means that it perfectly fulfills its basic function. Therefore, it is suitable for fencing any type of plot, especially one that must be secured as soon as possible. In addition, not every side of the property requires a beautiful, but also more expensive type of fence. Sometimes the mesh is the best solution, especially when you don’t want something to block your view.
Installation of a fence mesh
If we have already purchased all the necessary elements and a sufficient amount of mesh, we can proceed to its assembly. However, first you need to properly prepare the area, i.e. remove vegetation, larger stones and other things that may disturb us and mark the fence line. Then we dig the holes for the posts. The wells should be about 30 centimeters in diameter and they should be about 2.5 meters apart.
The next posts are embedded, i.e. poured with specially prepared concrete and carefully leveled. Remember that the leveling and alignment of the posts should take place before the concrete dries.
The next step is to put on the tension wire. We start the installation from the starting or corner post, and for this purpose we use a tensioning bar with a fastening band and bolts with an eyelet. The last thing is fixing the net itself and stabilizing it properly.
As you can see, the process of assembling the mesh itself is not too difficult or complicated, but it requires some practice and experience.
